Terms of Service

The current beta terms for accounts, customer content, availability, and responsible use of Serious Toolz.

Beta notice: these pages describe the service as it works today. Final legal review is required before broad public availability.

Last updated: July 24, 2026

The beta service

Serious Toolz currently provides workspace, project, dynamic QR Code, export, redirect, scan-recording, analytics, and bounded custom-subdomain features. Features labelled Coming soon or Planned are descriptions of direction, not promises or usable services.

Accounts and authority

You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your account, and use the service only for an organization or content you are authorized to manage. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Your content and destinations

You retain responsibility for project names, QR destinations, styles, domains, and other content you provide. You must have the rights and permissions needed to publish and redirect to that content.

Free beta limits

The current beta has documented active-project, active-QR, and monthly recorded-scan limits. Limits and beta availability may change after notice. No billing, checkout, paid subscription, or payment entitlement is currently offered.

Availability and changes

The beta is provided for evaluation and may experience interruptions, provider limits, DNS delays, or changes. Printed QR links are designed to stay stable, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.

Suspension and removal

Serious Toolz may manually restrict a link, domain, project, or account when needed to address security, abuse, legal risk, service integrity, or a material violation of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

No professional or emergency service

Serious Toolz does not provide legal, medical, financial, emergency, or guaranteed support services. You remain responsible for reviewing exported QR Codes and customer-facing destinations before distribution.

Updates and contact

Material product, provider, or policy changes should be reflected in these terms and the project documentation. Use the Support page for product questions and Report abuse for harmful public links.
